5 Daily Tips for Inspiration. Lightening the Load During Lockdown

1. Movement- Anytime I want to just lay down, I do the opposite. Opposite Action = Positive Reaction. Change up your physicality daily.

To Do: Walk around the block after you get up in the morning. Then again in the afternoon, and once before you go to bed.

2.  Sound - By generating sound, it helps trigger our headspace into a new one. Generating sound helps inspire thought to motion, and new energy inspires a mood boost!

To Do: Walk into a room while whistling a tune. Hum a tune while you do the dishes. It will create the shine when you dine, and lightness while you lather!

3. Surroundings - No matter how much you are laying in bed these days, starting your day with one simple action can shift the outcome to the remainder of your day.

To Do: Make your bed when you get up for your walk in the morning. It will shift the temptation to crawl back in, and propel you forward vs staying still.

4. Water: I’m a coffee gal myself, but drinking a cold glass of water helps to inspire your body to wake up. That along with my cup of joe, helps to jumpstart the day and inspires a fresh start.

To Do: Drink a cold glass of water first thing. And if you live near water? Take one hour in your week to walk beside the water’s edge. Water is movement, and inspires our mental space, and physical body.

5. Learn: By learning something new each day, you will be inspired by new thoughts, which welcome action and motion. And the best news, is there’s always something new to learn, and never a shortage of.

To Do: Read after your walk, and before you go to bed. You will start and end your day with new information that will welcome thought towards action.
